BulletBeaches of Seychelles Islands

Seychelles Islands are the only mid ocean island archipelago in the world with a granite rock formation. Aldabra, a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site, is the largest coral atoll in the world.
Beaches from Seychelles are excellent all year round and offer a plenty of holiday activities. But if you must undertake a specific activity, then you need to pick the most suitable season. Windsurfing and sailing are best at the start and end of the trade winds, May and October. Diving enthusiasts should plan they travels between March and May or between September and November, although the dive conditions are excellent all year round. Bird life lovers should note that April marks the beginning of the breeding season. Bird Island is populated by sea birds between May and September. Due to drier conditions, the period between May and September has the best conditions for hiking and walking on the beach.
A few from the best beaches on Praslin, probably the best known island from Seychelles, are:

BulletAnse Lazio Beach, Praslin

On Anse Lazio the soft white sand, the rocks, and the lush green of the Tropics are able to stun even Italian or Greek holiday makers, who are lucky to have the Mediterranean on their doorsteps! Anse Lazio is the most exquisite beach and one of the most popular from Seychelles. This beach appears in a large variety of travel books and tourist guides, so it's worldwide renowned. The 730 steps long Anse Lazio lies in the beautiful Baie Chevalier and is framed by large granite rocks on both ends. Coconut palms and several other palm trees arch towards the ocean, keeping the beach immaculately shaded... Very fine sand and clear water provide a white and turquoise glittering setting, with gently rolling waves... Hidden paths take you to Chevalier Bay, with its row of densely grown palm trees.
But maybe the best things on Anse Lazio are the rainbow colored sunsets! Beach restaurants sells good local cuisine, cake, and fresh juices, offering a comfortable environment to admire that magic and unique sunsets...

BulletAnse la Blague Beach

The coral reef is easy to swim out here, making it ideal for snorkeling. If you are lucky enough you could see hawksbill turtles, but there are also many reef fish and invertebrates to see.

BulletAnse Kerlan

This beach is located near airport and has beautiful views of Cousine and Cousin islands in the distance.

BulletAnse Volbert

Anse Volbert or Cote d'Or is one of the most popular stretch of sand and location of some of the largest resorts. It's a long white sanded beach with crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming, water sports, and sunbathing.

BulletGrande Anse

Grande Anse is Praslin's longest beach and the site of one of the two villages. After Cote d'Or, here is the other well developed tourist center, but the beach is very seaweed congested and the waters shallow.

BulletAnse Consolation

This tiny secluded bay by Point Consolation, in the quiet south-eastern part of the island, has a small sandy beach with interesting shells and a few small fishing boats.

BulletAnse Possession

Anse Possession is a pretty narrow beach scattered with large granite boulders, with a view of Curieuse Island. This is the place where the French claimed possession of Praslin in 1768.
